So last week, we were supposed to move into the new Ivory theatre. Of course, as fate would have it, we were not bale to move into the space. We will however, be moving in tomorrow. Yeah!! But I must shout out a big thanks to St Mark's for letting us rehearse there an extra week. Rehearsals are going very well. I think that once we are able to move into the space, we will feel more in character. So I'm looking forward to moving tomorrow afternoon. Although my doctor did say that Im not aloud to pick up anything heavy or look at anything heavy or for that matter, really move very much. But I can supervise!:)

Well... What Can I Say
OK so I think I finally have this blog figured out. (You would think that I would have figured it out with the first two blogs but well...) Anyhoo, about the show. Things are going very well with the rehearsal process. I mean that is if you like working with people like Scott Tripp.
Can I speak candidly? I mean I don't want to put anybody down or anything, cause everybody in this show has just worked so hard. All I can say is... learn the words. That's it just learn the words. And I'm not going to call anyone out, cause I know that some people (Scott Tripp) work really hard daily (Scott Tripp) and then have to go to rehearsal at night (Scott Tripp) and its a really grueling schedule (Scott Tripp) but hey, "All the clouds are mumusoft?" and umm... "Why Dorothy and Toto had a baby to blow off Michael Jackson?" Or my personal favorite "I'm a perky little porn star from St Louis Missouri with a serious drinking problem cause I can't even get a date." Nobody is buying your shit buddy. I smell it and it smells stinky.
On a more refreshing note, the show is going very well. Tomorrow we run Act II and clean up things like..umm.. LINES. And then later this week we will put it all together.
Oh and I got a chance last Wednesday to choreograph my solo with Robin. I will tell you all about it in my next blog. For now I will just say my legs are spread apart most of the time in slightly awkward yet somewhat arousing positions and leave the rest to your dirty dirty little minds.
Peace Out,

P.S. Hey Trippy, how do you like them apples? Now I can talk all the shit I want and you can't reply cause you aint bloggin fool! Awwww yeah

Hello Everybody!
So yes, I admit it. I have been a bad bad blogger. Sadly this is the first blog that I have written since the start of rehearsals three weeks ago. (Yikes) The first week of rehearsals I was out of the country but for the second two weeks I have no excuse. So... I must catch you up on what has been going on with Sex, Drugs and Rock n Roll.
The first week of rehearsals, was the week for me to really focus on the songs in the show. Since this show is a revue, our main focus is the music and believe me, it is by no means an easy show to sing.
One of the first songs we worked on was the prologue from "Baby" the musical. This is primarily a narrative of the whole sperm meets egg story. During the song, one narrator describes the classic tale while the rest of us... do a mock orgasm...to each other... from across the room. The song is actually lots of fun. The rhythm is very tricky. Its still hard for me to get today (two weeks later). But, it is a very fun song and once it all comes together, it will be awesome.
We practiced our "Songs for a New World" pieces a few days later. The songs have four parts that are sung by four people. Kimi Short sings soprano, I sing alto, John Rhine sings tenor and Nick Kelly sings baritone. It was really nice to have just the four of us working so hard to make these two songs come together. For me, it was somewhat of a challenge to sing alto, since I had not done so in such a long time. It was however, a very nice change and I must say that I am really looking forward to sharing these pieces with our audiences. They are now my two favorite songs in the show.
We blocked all of Act I last Thursday and tonight we have to be off book for all of our music in this act. Surprisingly, I actually have memorized all the pieces I am in in this act, so I am looking forward to putting it together and moving on to Act II. Wednesday I am meeting with Robin SexBerger to do the choreography. I am super excited!
